What are the Eco Cloth washing instructions?
We recommend that you machine wash on delicate cycle with like colors using cold water and low impact detergents then hang or lay flat until dry. If you like the softer texture of our ecoHEMP™ do not dry your eco cloths on high heat, as this will change the texture of our fibers.
Do you pre-wash your products?
We believe in natural cleaning, therefore, we do not use conventional fabrics, chemically bonded fibers or pre-wash our products. We do this to prevent the introduction of potentially harmful chemicals used in the industrial pre-wash process. (numerous toxic chemicals are added at each stage of the industrial pre-wash process — silicone waxes, harsh petroleum scours, softeners, heavy metals, flame and soil retardants, ammonia, and formaldehyde — to name just a few.)
What's up with the lint?
To keep our eco cloths natural from beginning to end we do not pre-wash our products. This means that our cloths may produce some lint on the first few wash cycles. This lint does not affect the quality or integrity of our products. What you are seeing is lint from our ecoHEMP™ from being washed for the first time, don't worry this is normal and will subside after a few washes!
I'm shipping these to a friend, how do I add a special message to the recipient?
Once you select your item and add it to cart, you will be able to access the cart in the upper right corner of our e-store. To add a note click the cart icon, then click “add a note to your order” and scribble away. If you have any special instructions please let us know, we are happy to accommodate.
How quick is your standard shipping?
We ship "$3 Dollar Flat Shipping" USPS first class mail, within the continental United States you can expect your package to arrive within 2-6 business days. If you select "$3 Dollar Flat Shipping" and your order is over one pound we ship USPS standard ground and you can expect delivery within 2-9 business days. If you would like faster shipping we do offer faster shipping options at checkout!
Do you offer international shipping?
We do ship internationally, however, you will need to account for the longer transit time. We estimate that international shipping depending on destination can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks. At the checkout screen please select the final destination for your order and international shipping rate will be added to your total.
What is your out of stock and pre-order policy?
When the item you are purchasing is currently "Out of Stock" or "Pre-Order Only" this means it is not immediately available. Check the item description for an approximate delivery date (if the delivery date changes you will be notified by email). All purchases will be shipped in the order they are received. When you purchase items that are "Out of Stock" or "Pre-Order Only" you are guaranteed that you will receive this product once the item is in stock and able to be purchased (even if it sells out). When you purchase an item that is "Out of Stock" or "Pre-Order Only" we will immediately process FULL PAYMENT for the item(s) in the same manner we process payments for in-stock items. How long is your order fulfillment time?
Our products are handcrafted. We are not a large business, due to this we often make our customers orders from scratch. We generally fulfill customer orders within 24 to 72 hours, if you have any specific questions please contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
There appears to be some small imperfections in the fibers of your products?
While we are confident that our ecoHEMP™ fibers are superior to those found within the marketplace, we want to make sure that you are aware of a few particulars. Our fibers are bleached (or natural), using non-chlorinated bleach, which means the base fibers are more of a natural color vs. the bright white you get with conventional and mainstream textiles. It is expected that natural fibers will occasionally have some small imperfections due to the manufacturing process; because this does not affect performance we believe that these imperfections only add character to our products.
What is your policy on product availability?
We cannot guarantee that every product will be available at the time of order. Please let us know in advance if you wish for us to only ship your order complete. Otherwise we will ship all orders as available on a first come first serve basis.
